Christmas 2010

Reflecting back on my 2010 Christmas, it seems like the focus has been on family. It started with The Children Christmas party and Inter-Religious Christmas Fellowship at the Catholic Church in Jasin a week before Christmas and ended with Relatives Gathering in-conjuction with an uncle 85th Birthday on Dec 27. But the highlight was my family's 'Christmas Away' at Port Dickson where we spend 3days just among ourselves. Here are some pictures showing you my 2010 Christmas experiences.

Youth Rock 2

On 25-28th November 2010 about 60 youths from the South Johor Parishes attended the Youth Rock 2 with the theme for this year; "Rocking in the Spirit..Acts 2:8". Initially when the Coordinators met to plan out for this camp, we had many directions on how this camp should be. But after prayerful discernment we were led by God to introduce the Holy Spirit to the youths ages between 12-17. The camp turned out to be some what of a Youth LSS (Life In the Spirit Seminar).

I can say that I have witnessed the Lord's goodness and faithfulness despite the many obstacles, challenges and problems we encountered during the preparation of camp.

While preparing this camp and during the camp itself, it brought back fond memories of my involvement in the Charismatic Movement during the years 1993-2000. A grace-filled period with a renewal within.
